MURRAY HILL, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 15, 2004--C. R. Bard,
Inc. (NYSE:BCR) announced today that, at its September 2004 board
meeting, the Board of Directors elected Judith A. Reinsdorf, 40, to
the position of Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate
Secretary, effective October 11, 2004. Judith replaces Nadia J.
Bernstein, who recently retired from the Company.
Prior to joining Bard, Judith served as Vice President and
Corporate Secretary of Tyco International Ltd., since 2003. Before
joining Tyco, she held the position of Vice President and Associate
General Counsel of Pharmacia Corporation, and Chief Legal Counsel,
Corporate of the Monsanto Company. Judith began her career with
Crowell & Morning in Washington, D.C. She earned a B.A. degree in
political science from the University of Rochester, and a J.D. degree
from Cornell Law School.
