MURRAY HILL, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 29, 2003--C. R. Bard,
Inc. (NYSE:BCR) announced today that Brian P. Kelly and Amy S. Paul
have each been named to the position of Group Vice President,
effective June 1, 2003.
Kelly, 45, joined the company in 1983 as a territory sales manager
for Bard's subsidiary, Davol Inc. He has held a succession of
management positions including Vice President of Sales for Bard Access
Systems, Inc. and Vice President and General Manager of Davol Inc.
Since 1997, Kelly served as the President of Davol Inc. He holds a
bachelor's degree in Marketing from Niagara University. As Group Vice
President, his responsibilities will include the operations of Bard's
Davol, Endoscopic Technologies and Electrophysiology businesses.
Paul, 51, came to Bard in 1982 as a senior product manager for
Davol Inc. She has held positions of increasing responsibility in
marketing including Vice President of Marketing for Bard's former
Cardiopulmonary Division. She subsequently advanced through general
management positions including President of the Interventional
Products Division. Since 1997, she has been President of Bard Access
Systems, Inc. She received a bachelor's degree in English and a
master's degree in business with a concentration in marketing from
Boston University. As Group Vice President, Paul will be responsible
for the operations of Bard's international businesses.
