Schermerhorn, 42, joined the company in 1985 as a financial analyst. He has held a succession of financial management positions including Controller of the Vascular Systems Division, Vice President and Controller of the USCI Division, and Vice President and Group Controller-Cardiology. Since 1998 Schermerhorn has served as Vice President and Treasurer of Bard. He received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Lowell, an MBA from Babson College, and is a Certified Management Accountant.
