Bard Will Host Spring 2002 Investor Conference

Murray Hill, NJ -- April 12, 2002 -- C. R. Bard, Inc. (NYSE-BCR) today announced that it will hold its Spring 2002 Investor Conference on Thursday, April 18, 2002 at 4:00 PM in New York City.

The conference will be hosted by William H. Longfield, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and will include a strategic review, business update, and financial highlights. The webcast will be available on the website for future on-demand replay.
