MURRAY HILL, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 9, 2002--The Board of Directors of C. R. Bard, Inc. (NYSE: BCR - News) today declared a regular quarterly dividend of 22 cents per share on Bard's common stock.

The current annual dividend rate is 88 cents per share. The dividend is payable on November 1, 2002 to shareholders of record October 21, 2002.
