MURRAY HILL, N.J., Feb 10, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- C. R. Bard, Inc. (NYSE: BCR) today announced that Todd W. Garner, 42, has been named to the position of Vice President, Investor Relations and will begin transitioning into the role immediately. Todd replaces Eric J. Shick, who has been named Vice President, Operations Strategic Programs.

Todd joined the company in 2003 as the plant controller for Bard's Reynosa, Mexico manufacturing operation. He has since held a succession of financial management positions, including Director of Corporate Financial Reporting and Analysis and Vice President, Controller of Bard Medical Division. Todd started his career with Arthur Andersen, LLP. and, before joining Bard, was Corporate Controller at Echopass, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University, a Masters of Business Administration from The University of Texas - Pan American and is a Certified Public Accountant.
