BARD DECLARES QUARTERLY DIVIDEND

MURRAY HILL, NJ -- (December 14, 2005) -- The Board of Directors of C. R. Bard, Inc. (NYSE-BCR) today declared a regular quarterly dividend of 13 cents per share on Bard's common stock. The current indicated annual dividend rate is 52 cents per share.  The dividend is payable on February 3, 2006 to shareholders of record at the close of business on January 23, 2006.
