BARD's significant increase in R&D investment in recent years- from $53 million in 2001 to $185 million in 2011 - is a measure of our commitment to innovation and evidence of our ability to execute growth strategy.
In recent years, our increased focus on R&D has yielded some significant results. We have strengthened our infrastructure, creating an interactive R&D Council to share diverse experiences, and leverage ideas and best practices among our divisions.
